Bill Gruber was recently appointed to the La Roche College Board of Trustees.

Noteworthy: Gruber recently was appointed to the board of trustees of La Roche College, a private, Catholic college north of Pittsburgh.

Family: Wife, Corinne, and children, Luke, 22, Maggie, 19, and Alex and Aaron, both 16.

Occupation: Gruber is president and founder of Broker’s Settlement Services in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Chateau. He manages the company’s business development initiatives, including marketing and sales and client relations. He is founder of AllDocs, a mortgage servicing company that assists mortgage bankers.

Education: North Catholic High School in Troy Hill, 1979; bachelor’s in Business Administration and management, La Roche College, 1983.
