Jack Goodrich, a Pittsburgh attorney and second-generation Irishman, will be grand marshal of the city’s 2014 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Noteworthy: Goodrich recently was appointed to the 13-member Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, which reviews attorney conduct. He will serve a three-year term.

Education: A graduate of Penn Hills High School, Goodrich received a business degree from St. Francis University before studying law at Duquesne University.

Background: Goodrich specializes in personal injury law as principal of his firm, Goodrich and Associates. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association. He served for six years as an appointed hearing officer for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Goodrich is president of the Brehon Law Society of Western Pennsylvania, an organization for lawyers of Irish descent. He was named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by National Trial Lawyers and a top 100 Irish-American lawyer by Irish Voice Magazine.
