Noteworthy: Tree Pittsburgh, a Lawrenceville-based nonprofit organization that promotes the protection and growing of trees, recently named Renwick its 2015 Community Volunteer of the Year.

Occupation: Renwick works as a group manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection with the storage tanks program on Herrs Island, Pittsburgh. The Rockville, Md., native has worked 23 years for DEP. She moved here from the main office in Harrisburg in 2007. She is a former board member of Troy Hill Citizens, a community group. After graduate school, she worked five years for an environmental consulting firm in Atlanta.
