Noteworthy: Appointed by University of Pittsburgh Chancellor Patrick Gallagher as chair of the Board of Visitors for the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.

Occupation: Attorney and founding partner of the law firm Lovett, Bookman, Harmon, Marks. The firm handles wills, trusts and estates. Former member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and past chairman of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and a former member of council of the Probate Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Education: Law degree from Duquesne University School of Law; bachelor's degree from University of Pittsburgh. He attended Pitt on a basketball scholarship and was co-captain of the team his senior year. Pitt's Varsity Letter Club named him a Letterman of Distinction in 1992.
