A North Side man was shot in the hip Saturday night in what police believe was a drive-by shooting.
Around 6:20 p.m. near the corner of North Charles and Farris streets, three men talked as two cars drove past – a dark-colored sports-utility vehicle and a newer model silver sedan, Pittsburgh police said. Shots were fired, with one bullet striking a 26-year-old man in the right hip. Police did not identify the victim.
Doctors at Allegheny General Hospital treated the victim, who was reported in critical condition. No arrests have been made.
