Penn Hills McDonald's robbed for 2nd time in 2 weeks

A McDonald's on Frankstown Road in Penn Hills was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.

The robbery happened about 9:15 p.m., according to Allegheny County 911.

The restaurant is at 11591 Frankstown Road, near the Penn Hills Shopping Center.

No one was hurt, a dispatcher said.

The robber was described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with dark skin and a thin build.

This is the second time in less than two weeks that the restaurant has been robbed.

The previous robbery happened shortly before 10 p.m. Nov. 24.
