Pittsburgh man charged with murder in death of Georgia hair salon employee
MARIETTA, Ga. – A Pittsburgh man was arrested in Georgia on Friday in connection with the death of a hair salon employee in suburban Atlanta earlier this month.
Local news media report that the Marietta Police and Paulding County Sheriff's Department on Friday arrested 21-year-old Omar Savior, of Pittsburgh, and 20-year-old Thadeshia Clark, of Hampton, Va., in connection to the death of 35-year-old Howard Sewell. Sewell's body was found behind the Gerber Auto Body Shop June 3.
Sewell worked at Van Michael Salon in Sandy Springs.
Police say Savior and Clark are charged with felony murder, armed robbery and concealing the death of another. They are being held at the Cobb County Jail. It is unclear if both have an attorney.
Savior served three months probation in 2013 after pleading guilty to charges including disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, Allegheny County records show. He was arrested in March 2015 for drug possession, receiving stolen property and a weapons charge.
