Detectives with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Sex Assault Unit are investigating a reported sexual assault at Duquesne University.

According to a crime alert emailed by university public safety officials, a female student reported to university police on Saturday afternoon that she’d been assaulted in her campus room over the previous night by a male student whom she knows.

Anyone with information about the alleged assault is asked to contact Pittsburgh police by dialing 911 or university police at 412-396-2677.
