Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium will be closed Friday

Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium will be closed Friday.

Zoo spokeswoman Tracy Gray initially said the opening would be delayed until noon so crews could replace a waterline in the zoo. She said in a later update the zoo would be closed because of the inclement weather.

She said the waterline replacement is part of the construction of a new restaurant.
