Police responded to a gun battle early Sunday morning in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood, authorities said.

The incident happened shortly after 4 a.m. on Dean Street, according to Public Safety spokeswoman Alicia George.

Officers arrived and discovered that someone had fired shots into a home on the street, and people inside the home returned fire, shooting outside, George said.

No one was injured, she said. Police continue to investigate.
