WQED producer and Pittsburgh icon Rick Sebak is still on the mend from an injury he suffered in late August. But his recovery at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital hasn't been all bad.
During his stay at the Oakland facility he's been brought a cornucopia of Pittsburgh's best foods, from friends and restaurants.
Items from Prantl's, Oakmont Bakery and Smileycookie.com have kept his sweet tooth supplied.

My buddy John Maggio offered to bring me lunch today from @wholeysfish, and I asked for Andy's sushi. It was superb. Top right is my roll and sashimi on seaweed salad. Sebak ruptured his quadriceps tendon and until mid to late October, he will not be able to move his leg at all to give it time to heal, according to NewsRadio 1020 KDKA. "I'm very lucky in that I didn't fall a great distance. I didn't hit my head. There are no other injuries, it's just my left leg," Sebak told KDKA. Sebak's injury and recovery have pushed back the release of his next "Nebby" series show. "That Kennywood Summer" was scheduled to premier tomorrow, "but all of that has been postponed," Sebak said.
