Star of The Bachelor visits Pittsburgh’s children’s hospital
Colton Underwood took a break from handing out roses Sunday and instead visited kids at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
As current star of ABC’s The Bachelor and former NFL player with the then San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders, Underwood spent time with the kids as part of his non-profit organization The Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation . The organization, founded in 2015, works to provide resources for research and support for people with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that affects the lungs and can cause difficulty breathing.
Photos on the hospital’s Facebook page show Underwood holding stuffed animals with a little girl, visiting a girl in her hospital room surrounded by “Get Well Soon” balloons and holding up a peace sign with a boy in front of a Pittsburgh Pirates themed Statue of Liberty.
UPMC wrote on their page, “Thank you to Colton Underwood and Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation for stopping by for a visit at UPMC Children’s this morning!”
