Police were on scene of a two-car crash that hospitalized one occupant of this car and two from another vehicle on Wednesday morning Nov. 5, 2014 at the intersection of 27th Street and Penn Avenue in the Strip District.
A truck hauling tires collided with a vehicle in the Strip District on Wednesday morning, the public safety spokeswoman said.
Paramedics took two people from the truck and one person from the smaller vehicle to UPMC Presbyterian and Allegheny General Hospital, respectively, for evaluation, Sonya Toler said.
The crash was reported about 8 a.m. on Penn Avenue near 27th Street, she said. No one involved appeared to be seriously injured, she said.
“We took them to the hospital as a precaution,” Toler said.
