Suspected burglar shot and killed in Mount Oliver home invasion

A Mt. Oliver homeowner shot and killed a suspected burglar during a home invasion in Mount Oliver, according to Allegheny County Police.

Allegheny County 911 got a report of a burglary at 5:18 a.m. Thursday.

The burglar was armed, according to county officials.

The burglar has not been identified.

The Allegheny County Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating.
