Editor's note: Daniel Dintino was convicted on a harassment charge and received a year's probation. He was found not guilty of one count of stalking and a separate count of harassment.

University of Pittsburgh police issued a warning for people to be on the lookout for a man wanted for stalking and harassment.

The department said it has received complaints that Daniel Dintino allegedly approached women on numerous occasions and made them uncomfortable.

The department arrested Dintino on Monday on an outstanding warrant for theft and warned him not to return to campus.

Dintino was released on bail and may be back in the area, police said.

Pittsburgh police filed charges of stalking and harassment against Dintino on Monday.
