Traffic along inbound Route 28 backed up as a result of a crash that occurred near the Creighton exit in East Deer Township.

State police in Kittanning said multiple vehicles were involved in the wreck, which was reported about 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Nobody was injured in the crash, authorities said.

Crews cleared the crash scene shortly before 8 a.m., but traffic in the southbound lanes was still backed up, police said.
