Wylie Tobacco hit with consumer alert after 'too many mouse droppings to count'

Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for Wylie Tobacco in the Hill District after finding dead mice and other violations.
County inspectors found “too many to count” fresh droppings on the snack displays and on the dry food storage shelving, according to a report.
They also found about 80 prepackaged snacks like cheese curls and potato chips with gnaw marks and resting on mouse droppings, the report said.
A message left at the shop was not immediately returned.
