Riverview School Director Jon Nehlsen resigns, district looks for replacement
Riverview School Director Jon Nehlsen has resigned.
The board accepted his resignation Monday .
District officials posted information about the vacancy Tuesday on its Facebook page and on the school board section of the district’s website, rsd.k12.pa.us.
Nehlsen said he had to step down from his elected post for personal reasons.
“I am really disappointed to step away from the board,” said Nehlsen via email. “We had some family medical issues to attend to and it was not possible to give the school district the attention it deserves.
