Snow day at the zoo

Animals enjoy the snow on March 21, 2018

While most of us looked out our windows with disappointment at the snowfall this morning, not everyone was upset.

Animals at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium seemed overjoyed to see the snow.

The zoo's penguins and red panda were captured sliding and playing in the snow Wednesday afternoon.

The zoo was closed to visitors, but officials said staff was there.
