No one was injured when a car went off a Fayette County road and into an above-ground residential swimming pool, according to state police.

Michael Joseph Klippi, 18, of Uniontown was traveling west on Rolling Hill state Road in North Union Township at 7:38 a.m. Thursday when he hydroplaned on the wet road, police said. Klippi lost control and went airborne before his car landed on a wooden deck and fell into the swimming pool at the home of David Smith, police said.

The red car was almost completely submerged. The pool has a wooden deck at ground level on one side and is several feet from Smith's home.
