Scottdale Bank & Trust appointed a new vice president and retail market manager Friday.

The Millersburg-based bank hired Tiffany R.M. Guittap, a Uniontown resident, who will help the bank reach financial goals and build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout Westmoreland and Fayette counties.

With 13 years of banking and financial consultancy experience, Guittap will also provide investment and financial services to the bank, which is a division of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc.

She earned a masters degree from the school’s Institute of Law and Public Policy. She also has a degree in marketing management and is a cohort graduate of FayPenn, Fayette Leader’s Academy.

On top of that, Guittap serves as chair of IMPACT Fayette and is involved with the American Heart Association’s executive committee, March of Dimes, FayPenn Economic Development Council and the Fayette Chamber of Commerce where she won the 2017 Young Professional Leadership Award and the 2016 Superhero in Business award.
