A Beaver County woman and her pets escaped a fire at their home unharmed overnight.

Joe DiNunno wasn't home when a fire erupted at his home just before 1 a.m. on Gringo Road in Hopewell Township, but his fiancee was, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV reported.

DiNunno said she called him at work and got out of the house along with their pets.

Damage was severe enough that the house is not livable, DiNunno said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.

DiNunno said they have family to help them.
