Armstrong County drug task force arrests 3, uncovers stolen handgun, in Ford City
The Armstrong County drug task force arrested three individuals in Ford City on drug-related charges Tuesday.
Laval Bruce, 23, of Pittsburgh, Ericka Jean Golden, 23, of Braddock and Melissa Jane Kladny, of Ford City, will face various charges for possession of and intent to deliver controlled substances, as well as conspiracy receiving stolen property and drug paraphernalia.
Task force agents, along with Ford City Police, Kittanning Police, Manor Township Police, Armstrong County Detective Bureau and the Armstrong County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit served a search warrant to Kladny’s home Jan. 22 after she delivered crack cocaine to a confidential informant’s residence in Ford City, according to a statement from Armstrong County District Attorney Katie Charlton.
Law enforcement found crack cocaine, heroin, a stolen 9mm handgun, 10 rounds of hollow-point bullets, drug paraphernalia and large amounts of U.S. currency in Kladny’s home, according to the statement.
Additional arrests in connection with this incident are expected.
Bruce, Golden and Kladny were arraigned before District Magistrate Kevin McCausland and a $75,000 bond was placed on all three. They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing before District Magistrate J. Gary DeComo on Feb. 5.
