Burger King headed to Buffalo Township
A Burger King is coming to Buffalo Township.
Township supervisors approved a subdivision at South Pike Plaza where a the restaurant will be built. It will be located on about 1 acre and feature a drive-thru across from the Giant Eagle GetGo.
A right-turn only lane off Route 356 will be built, and traffic in the restaurant parking lot will travel one way.
A sidewalk will be installed around the site's exterior.
Company officials hope the restaurant will be opened by the end of the year.
Construction will begin once some issues like a maintenance agreement is worked out between the developer and the township.
