Leechburg Road in Lower Burrell reopens after crews clear 1-car wreck
A section of Leechburg Road in Lower Burrell reopened about 6:15 p.m. Friday after rescue crews cleared a one-car wreck.
The road was shut down at about 5:45 p.m. between MacBeth and Madison drives.
Traffic backed up on Leechburg Road but was quickly rerouted to side streets after the car overturned at 5:30 p.m.
A man driving a four-door Chevrolet hit a post and rolled his car over, Lower Burrell Patrolman Steve Aulerich said.
The driver, the only person in the vehicle, was quickly freed from the car and suffered only minor injuries, he said.
