People can donate to the "Officer Shaw Memorial Fund" by going to any First National Bank or sending a donation to:
First National Bank
c/o Officer Brian Shaw Memorial Fund
110 Burrell Plaza
Lower Burrell, PA 15068
"Please share this information as this is the actual Memorial Fund that has been set up for his family and people should be wary of donating to any other memorial fund in Officer Shaw's name," the post reads. "Please share! Officer Shaw's family and his brothers in blue thank you for your continued support and donations!"
Lower Burrell Mayor Richard Callender said all the proceeds will go directly to Shaw's family.
He said the money will be used for ??support for the family and whatever is needed."
