A car crashed into a New Kensington Subway early Thursday morning, but no one was hurt, according to a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher.

The crash happened about 1 a.m., the dispatcher said. The restaurant is located at 490 Stevenson Blvd. and was closed at the time of the crash.

According to WTAE-TV , surveillance video reportedly shows the driver of a Ford Fusion crashing into the restaurant, getting out, trying to flip the vehicle and then running away.

The entire inside of the restaurant was destroyed, the television station said.

New Kensington police are investigating. No one was available for comment when a reporter called the police station early Thursday morning.
