Dialysis clinic to move to new site in Hempfield

A Greensburg dialysis clinic will relocate to a lot along North Greengate Road in Hempfield, according to Fresenius Kidney Care regional vice president Mark Sciorilli.

Fresenius Kidney Care near Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital will close and all employees will transfer to the new, more modern location when it opens early next year, Sciorilli said.

The 8,000-square-foot clinic will be on 4.88 acres located next to Aroma Joe’s. Crews have been working for weeks to clear a wooded area and prepare the land for development.

The land was purchased by COP Greensburg in October for $580,000, according to Westmoreland County deeds. COP Greensburg had no officers listed in filings with the Pennsylvania Department of State.
