Two Somerset County men were killed Saturday night when their car failed to negotiate a turn on Route 711 in Donegal and collided head-on with another vehicle.
According to state police, Patrick James Polakoski, 24, lost control of his 1999 Saab. The car spun counter clockwise, veered into the southbound lane of traffic and collided with a 2007 Jeep Cherokee driving by Lindsey M. Grebner, 28, of Donegal.
Polakoski and his passenger, Trevor Allen Osselburn, 25, were thrown from the vehicle. They were pronounced dead at the scene by Westmoreland County Deputy Coroner Joshua Zappone.
Zappone said both men died from blunt force trauma injuries. Autopsies will not be conducted, and the coroner's office is awaiting toxicology test results.
Neither man wore a seatbelt, according to police, which is still investigating the collision.
Grebner was wearing a seatbelt. She sustained major injuries according to police, and was transported to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. There was no update on her condition Sunday morning.
