Excela Health ranked among Healthiest 100 workplaces
Excela Health, operator of Westmoreland, Frick and Latrobe hospitals, has been ranked nationally as a healthy place to work.
The nonprofit health care provider was named one of the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America for the fourth year in a row, Excela announced in a news release.
Excela Health was one of 6,000 employers across the country that applied for the award and was ranked 23 out of 100, the release said. Applicants were evaluated in six categories.
The Healthiest 100 is an awards program of Healthiest Employer LLC and recognizes organizations that proactively shape the health of their employees.
“Maintaining a culture of wellness and safety is a priority for Excela Health,” said Laurie English, chief human resources officer. “Continued recognition for our accomplishments validates that we are achieving our mission by improving the health and well-being of every life we touch — beginning with our employees.”
Excela Health was one of three Pennsylvania companies to make the Healthiest 100.
