A grand reopening celebration Friday at the North Huntingdon Walmart Supercenter will highlight updated and expanded spaces in the store, according to a news release.
The festivities will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and activities, such as face painting and food samples.
The store upgrades are part of the company’s estimated $49 million investment in Pennsylvania in 2018, the news release said. The revamped store will have an updated pharmacy, more space in the toys and lawn and garden areas, a new electronics and entertainment department and new signs.
“We’re continually looking for ways to improve the shopping experience for our customers,” store manager David Hilderhoff said in the release.
