Latrobe man charged in cab company burglary
A Latrobe man is accused of stealing cash, two revolvers, two iPhones and coins last week from the Veterans Cab Company in Unity, state police at Greensburg said.
Joshua Lee Jording, 26, of Miller Street, allegedly burglarized the cab company on Route 982 between 11:07 p.m. and 11:19 p.m. Dec. 2 by forced entry through a window, police said.
The suspect, wearing a sweatshirt with his first name written on it, was identified on security footage as a former cab company employee, police said. When a search warrant was executed at the suspect's residence, police said, they found the revolvers, cell phones and sweatshirt, and said marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized.
Jording was charged with two counts of theft and single counts of burglary, receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was arraigned before Unity District Judge Michael Mahady and released on $10,000 unsecured bond, pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for Dec. 14.
