Fort Ligonier Days continued Saturday, with the downtown parade serving as a signature event on the second day of the annual three-day festival.
Around 100 units — including traditional floats and 20 marching bands — participated in the community parade along East and West Main streets in Ligonier.
Other units included horse teams, antique cars, Syria Shrine clowns and a Wells Fargo Stagecoach group that presented a Gold Star spouse of a combat wounded veteran with a new vehicle as part of the Military Warriors Support Foundation’s “Transportation 4 Heroes” program.
Pittsburgh television personality Sally Wiggin served as parade marshal.
Events continue through Saturday evening and all day Sunday.
