Murrysville consumer advocate will host ‘tele-town-hall’ meeting with Sen. Casey
Murrysville consumer advocate Mary Bach will join U.S. Sen. Bob Casey for an interactive “tele-town-hall” meeting July 9 to discuss ways to recognize and avoid scams and fraud.
Bach, who is the chairwoman of the AARP’s Pennsylvania Consumer Issues Task Force, was among 12 senior citizens recognized at the state Capitol last month for their work against frauds and scams. She and others were honored by Secretary of Banking and Securities Robin L. Wiessmann for their work with the Campaign for Wise and Safe Investing, a collaboration between the state and the AARP.
Consumers will be able to call in at 6 p.m. July 9 for Bach and Casey’s town-hall forum.
