Free job-search program at Franklin Park church focusing on attending job fairs
The job search ministry at Saints John and Paul Church in Franklin Park is holding a free program on how to get the most out of job fairs on Thursday, Oct. 18.
Phyllis G. Hartman, a certified human resources professional, will discuss how to select the best fairs to attend, planning and preparation, behaviors during the fair and networking and follow-up activities.
She also will cover virtual career events and how you might take advantage of them.
“How to Attend a Job Fair” will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the upper Cardinal DiNardo Center located across the parking lot from the church.
No registration is required and participants . All par and everyone who attends will be eligible for drawings to receive professional development materials.
The Job Search Ministry also offers free services including resume review, monthly professional development programs, networking and a Job Search Work Team that meets twice monthly. More information is available online or by emailing Carolyn Mariano at email@example.com .
