A Braddock man and a New Jersey man have been sentenced in federal court in Pittsburgh for their roles in a heroin distribution ring that operated in West Mifflin and Pittsburgh.

Darnell Jackson, 44, of Braddock and Everett Hunt, 50, of Rahway, N.J., were sentenced by U.S. District Judge Alan N. Bloch for their role in a conspiracy involving three other men to distribute more than 1 kilogram of cocaine.

Hunt was sentenced Monday to three years in prison followed by two years of supervised release. Jackson was sentenced last week to 20 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release.
