Two people on a motorcycle were injured — one critically — in a crash with another vehicle late Friday afternoon in Pittsburgh's Brighton Heights neighborhood, city Public Safety Department spokeswoman Sonya Toler said.

Police accident reconstruction specialists were called to investigate the crash that was reported at 5:57 p.m. at the intersection of Viruth Street and McClure Avenue.

One man who suffered a head injury was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in critical condition, Toler said. The other man — described by paramedics as a 57-year-old man with arm and leg fractures — was taken to the same hospital in stable condition, Toler said.
