2 motorcycles crash, 2 hurt in Washington Township

Two people were transported to Forbes Regional Hospital on Wednesday after a wreck involving two motorcycles in Washington Township.

According to a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher, the wreck occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on Route 380, just past the Route 366 cloverleaf (Greensburg Road).

The dispatcher confirmed two people were injured in the accident, but didn't know the extent of the injuries. Emergency responders were still on scene around 9 p.m.

According to emergency radio transmissions, rescue crews reported that two patients suffered head injuries, but both were conscious.
