A Baldwin Borough woman who was one of Allegheny County Sheriff William P. Mullen's "Most Wanted" fugitives and another wanted person were arrested without incident Wednesday at an apartment in Brookline.

Amy Namachar, 29, was wanted on five separate bench warrants, including a bond forfeiture on charges of robbery and related crimes that were filed after she was accused of attacking a motorist and his son who had stopped to give her a ride because of an approaching storm, sheriff's Sgt. Douglas Clark said.

Namachar was accused of wrapping her arm around the child's neck, pointing a tear-gas bottle at the motorist and demanding money, Clark said.

The sergeant said deputies also arrested David Werkmeister, 26, of Mt. Oliver, who was in the apartment with Namachar. Werkmeister was wanted on two bench warrants, including bond forfeiture for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
