CLINTONVILLE, Pa. — A portion of Interstate 80 in Clintonville, Venango County was shut down early Wednesday after two tractor-trailers collided.
According to state police, the accident happened at the Clintonville exit around 3:30 a.m.
Both trucks overturned and one trailer was split in half when the other truck’s driver drove through the trailer portion of the second truck.
No serious injuries were reported.
The westbound lanes were shut down for several hours, but one lane did reopen around 5:30 a.m.
Crews cleared the rest of the debris from the road during daylight hours, and the road fully reopened a few hours later.
State police continue investigating and haven’t said if any citations will be filed.
