4 charged, allegedly broke into 5 Somerset County cabins
The owner of a Somerset County cabin discovered that somebody had been sleeping in his bed. And it wasn’t Goldilocks.
Four county residents face burglary and other charges for allegedly breaking into five cabins over a three-day period last week.
Andrew Peretti, 18, of Garrett, and Briana Gohn, 19, Elizabeth Peck, 27, and Adam Scarlet, 18, all of Somerset, were charged by state police after the owner of one of the Addison Township cabins discovered them inside, state police at Somerset said.
The four are accused of breaking into the cabins along an unpaved road off Fort Hill Road between Thursday and Saturday. State police said they damaged property, stole items and ate food from four cabins while staying in the fifth.
Peretti and Scarlet were arraigned and lodged in the Somerset County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond. Gohn and Peck were held on $10,000 bond.
