A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles by actor Laurence Fishburnes’ former personal assistant claims she was fired for getting pregnant. Kristel Crews’ suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court claims Fishburne repeatedly confronted her after she became pregnant forcing her “to explain to him in great detail, repeatedly, why she made the decision to have a child and the physical course it took to become pregnant,” TMZ.com reported Wednesday. The suit contends Fishburne also allegedly told Crews he did not believe “in women having children on their own,” and “that there were consequences to her decision to have the baby without consulting him,” the suit said. © Copyright 2006 by United Press International
