The Allegheny County police Homicide Unit investigated the death of a 73-year-old white male found in his McKees Rocks residence Wednesday.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office identified the man as Benito Nicoletti.

The man's car is missing, and authorities called his death suspicious. An autopsy will be conducted Thursday.

Police were called to the Vine Street residence about 5:30 p.m., an Allegheny County emergency dispatch supervisor said. Nicoletti was pronounced dead at 5:37 p.m., the medical examiner's office said.

County Police asked for assistance in finding his dark gray 2015 Chrysler 300, license plate JXG-6064. Anyone seeing it is asked to call 9-1-1.

Anyone having information on the whereabouts of the car or regarding the man's death is asked to call the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit at 412-473-1300.
