‘American Idol’ judge moves to dance

"American Idol" judge Paula Abdul has signed onto host Fox TV's new reality show, "So You Think You Can Dance."

The choreographer and former pop star will travel the United States using her "unique skills of dance and motivation to teach large groups of real people how to find their groove thing and really shake it," FOX said in a statement announcing the show Tuesday.

The show, which debuts at 8 p.m. Wednesday, will feature dance hopefuls competing against each other in the hope of becoming the next big "sensation," "Entertainment Tonight reported.
