Animal Rescue League's gala guests show their 'Wicked' love for animals
Attending an event hosted by the Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center always requires massive doses of willpower.
“We have three dogs and two cats. We're at max capacity,” said Adam Causgrove with his wife, Chelsea.
A record-shattering crowd of 300 attended the “Wicked”-themed Paw Prints gala on Oct. 31.
The evening unfolded with a VIP cocktailer in the Lexus Club at Consol Energy Center, Uptown, that drew the likes of chairs B.K. andMike Pavuk, Tim McVay and David Bush, Susan Warner, Ginny Merchant, John andMarla Zerrer, Morton Stanfield andMichelleSager,Jennifer Sinatra and Mike Reisinger, Julie Coletti and Giovanni Mineo. Then, it was down to the bowl for the main event, where wild and domestic shelter ambassadors proved resistance was futile.
“Pittsburgh is amazing,” said executive director Dan Rossi. “They really, really embrace us.”
The evening raised $250K.
