Ann Taylor will close its store in One Oxford Centre, Downtown, by the end of January, the company said Thursday.

The women's clothing retailer is shutting 117 underperforming stores over a three-year period; an Ann Taylor Loft store at the SouthSide Works is closing this month.

Ann Taylor still has three of its flagship brand stores and six Loft stores in the Pittsburgh region.

Oxford Development Co. President David Matter said space in the building off Grant Street will be marketed. He said a MacOutfitters store, selling Apple products, opened at Oxford Centre a month ago.
