Everything old was new again for someone at Antiques on the Diamond on Saturday in Ligonier.
Michelle Kosker of Ligonier Township was sporting a newly purchased pot metal necklace, possibly Tibetan, with three small peach charms dangling from a larger main piece. Husband Vince said the dealer had told them peaches are symbols of good luck.
Erik Selinger of Plum, accompanied by wife Adele, had fancied an old Ligonier Valley Rail Road sign but, alas, it was already sold.
Diane Krutz and Lisa Dormire, both of the Leechburg area, were finding some "amazing" jewelry, particularly a number of peacock-shaped pieces.
It was a lovely lace table runner, vintage unknown, that caught the eye and pocketbook of Jane Kilgore of Ligonier.
"I don't care how old it is," she said. "It was half-price!"
Vendors also offered glassware, crockery, toys, kitchen utensils, farm tools, furniture, memorabilia and innumerable other items representing the everyday and the exotic.
Seen on the Diamond: Jill Kilgore, Brenda Funk, Luke and Chrissy Baron, B.J. Funk, Vaughn and Michelle Tantlinger, Pat Young, Ronnie and Connie Sillaman, Becky Keys, Gretchen Friday and Raymond Kronz.

Bocce in the Garden
It was a beautiful Saturday evening for a candlelight reception, dinner with friends and Bocce nel Giardino.
Champions of this year's tournament -- in its 10th year -- were Greg and Maria Riley, who defeated Dan and Mary Laura with a score of 11-4.
Westmoreland Cultural Trust president Mike Langer extended a special "thank you" to the volunteers who coordinated the affair to further the trust's goal of stimulating cultural and economic development and promoting the performing arts.
"Because of their efforts and dedication, this year's event has far exceeded our expectations with regard to the number of attendees, players and overall organization."
A buffet with chicken Romano, penne and pesto and pork tenderloin stuffed with Italian dressing was by Rizzo's Malabar Inn in Crabtree.
Co-chairwomen were Clarice O'Neal and Katie Mahoney.
Don't miss the trust's Holiday Fashion Fantasy, to be held at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at Greensburg Garden and Civic Center.
Advance tickets are $45.
