The Hampton School Board is accepting applications to fill an open seat following the death of board member Harold Sarver.
The appointee would serve until December 2011.
Interested candidates must be residents of the district and at least 18 years old. Applications should include a resume and a letter of interest listing relevant qualifications, experience and reasons for wanting to serve on the school board. The deadline to apply is Dec. 17. The board will schedule interviews for later this month and early January.
