ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP - Police are investigating an armed robbery early Tuesday morning at a convenience store.

Police were called to the BP BFS store at 4975 Route 51 at 12:45 a.m. The cashier, who was not identified, was robbed at gunpoint, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 6-feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a gray hoodie with black patches on the hood and back. He was also wearing white gloves.

He had his hood up with a white bandana covering his mouth and nose. The suspect pointed the gun at the cashier and demanded money from the register.

The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
