Armstrong Associates Federal Credit Union conducts 45th annual meeting
Armstrong Associates Federal Credit Union conducted its 45th Annual Meeting at the Lenape Heights Ballroom on Saturday, April 5, with 366 members and guests in attendance. Tickets were sold out for the dinner portion of the event; however, members were welcome to attend the business meeting at no charge.
The business meeting included presentation of the financial statements. AAFCU’s highlights and accomplishments for 2002 were presented and explained by: President and Chief Executive Officer, Allan King; Board of Directors Chairman, Peter Hess; and Board of Directors Treasurer, Chester Elwood. Jean Chemelli was honored for her ten years of volunteer service.
Entertainment was provided by “On With The Show,” a musical review that included selections from the 1940’s through the 1980’s, concluding with a patriotic medley. Chester Elwood and Paul Hromadik were reelected to the Board of Directors, and Julia Duris was welcomed as a newly elected Director. A 50/50 raffle was held, with proceeds of $350 and additional donations going to Orphans of the Storm. The evening concluded with the door prize drawing, where fifty prizes with a total value of more than $1,400 were awarded.
